De boog kan niet altijd gespannen staan..
Beste Frans,
Wat vliegt de tijd.. Het is alweer precies een jaar geleden dat we samen op scoutingkamp zijn geweest in Bunne. Wat hebben we toen een vertier gehad. Het begon al bij de heenreis, toen we met de bus langs werden gehaald bij huis. Netjes om 7.30uur wachtend op de parkeerplaats naast de kampeerwinkel. Het zou een mooie zonnetje dag worden. De knietjes nog nat van het uit de tent kruipen en de mondhoeken nog plakkerig van het in alle haast naar binnen geschoven roggepunt met appelstroop. Door alle zenuwen heb ik wel 4 keer naar het toiletgebouw moeten rennen. De laatste keer had ik misschien iets meer tijd moeten nemen met uitdruppelen, want naast mijn rits verscheen langzaam een ongemakkelijk grootte vochtige plek.
Toen de bus aankwam zag ik tot mijn grote genoegen dat ik de eerste was die de bus mocht bestijgen. Nadat de koffer door de buschauffeur in het vooronder werd geschoven, snelde ik naar de entrance van de bus. Nooit bij stil gestaan dat mijn gympies nog nat waren van de dauw, stoof ik met multi-tree-stappen de bus in. Bij de tweede grote stap kon het profiel van mijn Mephisto’s geen grip meer vinden en vloog ik volle vaart met de kin tegen het dashboard, waarbij ik mijn knie lelijk blesseerde tegen het metalen prullemandje aan de loefzijde van de cabine. Met een rode vurige plek op mijn knie en een disney-pleister op de kin zocht ik al hinkelend een mooi plek om dit avontuur te gaan beginnen. Natuurlijk had ik meteen mijn knapzak op de stoel naast de chauffeur gelegd. Het is altijd vechten om dit plekje met Fransje. Nu mag ik.
Toen we jouw straat inreden, had ik al een plek gevonden met mijn hoofd tussen de knietjes. De zure aspergelucht van gisteravond prikkelde mijn reukzintuigen, maar dat mocht de pret niet drukken. Zachtjes begon ik te lachen. Toen de bus stopte schoot ik overeind. Je had die kop van je moeten zien toen mijn hoofd ineens te voorschijn kwam! Het was vast nog veel leuker geweest als er al meer mensen in de bus hadden gezeten… Meestal doen we dat op de terugreis, maar Gonny zei dat ik het gewoon moest doen. Ik had het er immers al 2 dagen over…
Aangekomen in de bossen van Bonne mocht iedereen snel een plekje zoeken om de tent op de zetten. Na drie kwartier worstelen met haringen en scheerlijnen hadden we de tent klaar. Heb jij ook zo’n last gehad van mensen bij de tent?
Na het tenten bouwen begon de eerste activiteit. Boogschieten. Net als altijd had jij weer een smoes zodat je kon vals spelen. Jij had zogenaamd last van je enkel en had de kar geleend van je gehandicapte broertje Herman. Ja, als je de boog stil kan houden op leuning van je gare karretje kan ik het ook.. Zeker als je de handrem erop zet..Ik denk dat ik anders eerste was geworden. Ze zaten er namelijk goed op. De rest vondt het wel erg vervelend dat je meeging met de boswandeling. We moesten de hele tijd de takken dus je spaken wegtrekken toen jij steeds een alternatieve route aan ons wilde laten zien.
Misschien kan jij ons ook verblijden met één van die prachtige verhalen van je over onze avonturen. Misschien zie ik je vanavond nog even op de bingoavond in de campingkantine.

Fijn dat je ervan geniet gevleugelde vriend! We nemen je graag eens mee door de bossen van Eext. Een leuk stuk om te beginnen en Kareltje heeft er dit weekend een stukje “off-road-route” bij geschilderd in paars. (vooral op berkenbomen, steekt goed af ofzo) We houden wel even contact!
